Installation

From old mailbox to new in an afternoon.

It’s the easiest home upgrade you’ll make.

  1. 1

    Set the post

Two ways, your call: slide it over a wooden 4x4 set in the ground, or bolt it straight to concrete through the four holes in the base.

  2. 2

    Mount the mailbox

Bolt the mailbox to the post with the included hardware — a drill and a wrench is all it takes.

  3. 3

    Snap on your numbers

The 4-inch address numbers are magnetic — press them into place, step back, and admire the new curb appeal.

Tools: drill, wrench, level. The 4x4 (or concrete anchors) are up to you — not included.

Heads up: the kit ships in more than one box (mailbox, post and numbers), and they can arrive a day apart. Full step-by-step instructions and the install video are at postandporch.com/installation.

FAQ

Zero-surprise answers.

Do I need a code?

No code needed. The kit is $295 as listed.

What’s in the kit?

The Malone mailbox (Regular size), a matching metal post in the same finish, and up to five 4-inch magnetic house numbers in silver or brass.

Which colors can I get?

Black, Brown, Corten Steel (arrives raw and rusts into a patina) and White. The post matches the mailbox.

I already have a post. Is the kit for me?

Probably not. If you want to keep a post from another brand, get The Malone on its own and add the $40 mailbox bracket adapter.

How does it install?

The post slides over a wooden 4x4 set in the ground, or bolts to concrete through the four holes in the base. Then bolt on the mailbox and snap on the numbers. The 4x4 or concrete anchors aren’t included.

Can I get the Large size?

The kit comes with the Regular Malone. For the Large, build it on The Malone page and add the post and numbers there.

How long does shipping take?

Most orders ship in 3–7 days from our shop in Woods Cross, Utah. Current ship window is shown at checkout, and you’ll get tracking by email the moment it leaves the warehouse.

What if I don’t love it?

Free 30-day exchanges. If the color isn’t right, we’ll make it right.

Who actually makes this?

A small team in Woods Cross, Utah, founded by Danny & Veronica. Every Malone is hand-finished in our own warehouse — not drop-shipped from a catalog.
